Job Overview

The Treasurer will oversee all aspects of the organization's financial assets, liquidity management, and capital structure. This executive role is responsible for developing and implementing treasury strategies that optimize cash flow, mitigate financial risks, and support the company's strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Treasurer responsibilities include:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and working capital 2. Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting, and banking relationships 3. Oversite of debt financing activities, including covenant compliance and lender relations 4. Implement and manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk mitigation strategies 5. Lead investment management of corporate assets within established policy guidelines 6. Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls 7. Manage corporate insurance programs and risk transfer strategies 8. Oversee pension fund management and employee benefit plan investments 9. Coordinate with accounting department for accurate financial reporting 10. Present treasury reports and recommendations to board committees and executive leadership

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 2. 10+ years of progressive treasury experience in corporate finance 3. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation 4. Expertise in cash management, debt instruments, and investment strategies 5. Proven experience with treasury management systems (Kyriba, SAP, Oracle) 6. Strong understanding of US banking regulations and compliance requirements 7. Experience managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facilities 8. Demonstrated risk management capabilities in multinational operations 9. Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills 10. SEC reporting experience for public companies

Preferred Qualifications

1. MBA or Master's degree in Finance or related field 2. Experience in Fortune 500 corporate treasury environment 3. Background in both corporate and banking treasury operations 4. Experience with M&A integration and post-merger treasury consolidation 5. Knowledge of derivative instruments and hedging strategies 6. Experience implementing new treasury technology solutions 7. Background in capital markets transactions and investor relations 8. Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal audit requirements 9. Experience managing teams of 5+ treasury professionals 10. Cross-industry treasury experience (manufacturing, technology, or healthcare)
