What is a Insurance Broker?

An Insurance Broker is a licensed professional who represents the interests of clients rather than insurance carriers. They specialize in evaluating insurance needs, comparing policies from multiple providers, and negotiating terms to secure the best coverage at competitive rates. Unlike agents who work for specific companies, brokers operate independently to offer unbiased advice and advocate for clients during claims processes.

What does a Insurance Broker do?

Insurance Brokers conduct detailed risk assessments by analyzing clients' personal or business circumstances to identify coverage gaps. They research and compare policies from various insurers, present customized options, and explain terms in clear language. Brokers also handle paperwork, renew policies annually, and assist clients in filing claims. Additionally, they stay updated on industry regulations and market trends to provide informed recommendations that align with evolving client needs.
