This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to contribute to the financial health and regulatory compliance of our organization.
Financial Accountant responsibilities include:
1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
3. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records
4. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic planning
5. Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
6. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and implement recommendations
7. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation in line with company policies
8. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying variances and trends
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
3. Proficiency in GAAP and general accounting principles
4. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
5. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
7. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
8. Understanding of US tax regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1. CPA certification or progress towards certification
2. Experience with ERP systems implementation or optimization
