UI Engineer responsibilities include:
1. Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
2. Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional components
3. Implement and maintain design systems and component libraries
4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
5. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent performance
6. Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with APIs
7. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices
1. 3+ years of professional UI development experience
2. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
3. Strong experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and CSS frameworks
4. Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
5. Experience with version control systems (Git)
6. Portfolio demonstrating clean, modern UI implementations
7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
