Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency, and ensure quality standards in our industrial operations. The ideal candidate will analyze production data, implement process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and cost reduction initiatives.

Process Engineer responsibilities include:

1. Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction 2. Develop and implement process control parameters, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards 3. Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies to optimize production workflows 4. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and bottleneck identification to enhance production throughput 5. Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime 6. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions for process deviations 7. Design and execute process validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new equipment and processes 8. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on process efficiency metrics

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering 2. 3+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing environment 3. Proven experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies 4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation 5. Experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and workflow analysis 6. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards (OSHA, ISO 9001) 7. Proficiency with CAD software and process simulation tools 8. Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

1. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification 2. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) 3. Background in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing industries 4. Knowledge of automation systems and PLC programming 5. Experience with project management and capital project execution 6. Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP requirements 7. Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration

Bonus Skills

1. Professional Engineering (PE) license 2. Experience with advanced statistical software (Minitab, JMP) 3. Knowledge of additive manufacturing or 3D printing processes 4. Background in energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives 5. Experience with digital twin technology and Industry 4.0 implementation 6. Proficiency in programming languages (Python, MATLAB) for process automation 7. Published research or patents in process improvement methodologies
