Electrical Engineer responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems including power distribution, control systems, and electronic components 2. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications 3. Direct manufacturing, installation, and testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements 4. Investigate and resolve electrical engineering problems in existing systems and equipment 5. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical systems and equipment 6. Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success 7. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects and system modifications 8. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and other relevant regulations

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program 2. 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience 3. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months 4. Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar) 5. Thorough knowledge of electrical systems design, power distribution, and control systems 6. Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE standards, and other electrical codes 7. Experience with electrical system testing and troubleshooting methodologies 8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related specialization 2. 5+ years of experience in industrial or power systems engineering 3. Experience with renewable energy systems or smart grid technologies 4. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems 5. Project management experience and PMP certification 6. Experience with power system analysis software (SKM PowerTools, EasyPower) 7. Background in energy efficiency and sustainable design practices 8. Familiarity with UL standards and certification processes

1. Experience with embedded systems design and development 2. Programming skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB for engineering applications 3. Knowledge of industrial automation and robotics systems 4. Experience with high-voltage systems and substation design 5. Background in telecommunications or network infrastructure 6. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification 7.
