AI Research Scientist responsibilities include:
1. Design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models
2. Conduct original research in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, or computer vision
3. Publish research findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL)
4. Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy research models into production systems
5. Analyze and optimize model performance, scalability, and efficiency
6. Stay current with latest advancements in AI research and incorporate new techniques
7. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent applications
1. PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field
2. 3+ years of hands-on research experience in machine learning or AI
3. Strong publication record in top AI/ML conferences or journals
4. Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
5. Expertise in one or more specialized areas: NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning
6. Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and optimization
7. Experience with large-scale data processing and model training
Preferred Qualifications
1. Postdoctoral research experience in AI/ML
2. Experience with distributed training frameworks (Horovod, DeepSpeed)
3. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform)
