Aerospace Engineer responsibilities include:
1. Design and develop aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, or missile systems using CAD software and engineering principles
2. Conduct aerodynamic, thermal, and structural analysis using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA)
3. Perform testing and validation of aerospace components and systems in wind tunnels, flight test facilities, and simulation environments
4. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and certification materials for FAA compliance
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers throughout product development lifecycle
6. Evaluate and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes for aerospace applications
7. Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during design, manufacturing, and operational phases
1. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from ABET-accredited program
2. 3+ years of professional aerospace engineering experience in aircraft or spacecraft development
3. Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX) and engineering simulation tools
4. Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and flight mechanics
5. Understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace certification processes
6. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status for defense-related projects
7. Experience with project documentation and technical report writing

1. Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related specialized field
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 2 years
