3. Administer standardized language proficiency assessments (WIDA ACCESS, ELPA21)
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
5. Collaborate with mainstream teachers to support content-area language development
6. Create culturally responsive teaching materials that acknowledge students' diverse backgrounds
7. Implement sheltered instruction observation protocol (SIOP) strategies in classroom delivery
8. Participate in professional development and ESL program improvement initiatives
1. Bachelor's degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics or related field
2. State teaching certification with ESL endorsement
3. Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience in K-12 or adult education settings
