Based in the US, this position requires deep understanding of modern design practices in tech-driven environments.
1. Establish and maintain design systems, component libraries, and documentation standards
2. Manage design tool stack (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools) and software licenses
3. Develop and implement scalable workflows for design reviews, feedback cycles, and handoff processes
4. Track and report on design team performance metrics, velocity, and project capacity
5. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, product management, and engineering teams
6. Onboard and train new designers on team processes, tools, and best practices
7. Manage design vendor relationships and external resource allocation
8. Organize and lead design team rituals, workshops, and knowledge sharing sessions
1. 5+ years of experience in design operations, production management, or similar role
2. Expertise with design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
3. Proven experience building and maintaining design systems in enterprise environments
4. Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies
5. Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello) and workflow optimization
6. Excellent communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams
7. US work authorization and ability to work in fast-paced tech environment
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, or related field
2. Experience in SaaS or technology companies with distributed teams
3. Background in UX/UI design or design leadership roles
4. Certification in project management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
