Provide accurate repair estimates including parts, labor costs, and completion timelines 4. Coordinate with technicians to diagnose issues and recommend necessary repairs 5. Maintain constant communication with customers regarding repair status and additional needs 6. Process payments and explain completed work to customers 7. Manage appointment scheduling to optimize shop workflow and technician efficiency 8. Maintain knowledge of manufacturer warranties, recalls, and service bulletins 9. Handle customer complaints and service follow-ups to ensure satisfaction 10. Maintain service department records and documentation compliance

Must-Have Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years automotive service experience 2. Proven experience with automotive service writing or service advisor role 3. Proficiency with dealership management systems and estimating software 4. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair terminology, and diagnostic processes 5. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills 6. Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical documentation 7. Basic mathematical skills for calculating estimates and processing payments 8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record 9. Knowledge of specific manufacturer warranty procedures and processes 8. Previous experience in automotive parts or technical service role
