1. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in major household appliances (refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers)
2. Perform routine maintenance and service calls for residential customers
3. Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify issues accurately
4. Maintain service vehicle inventory, including parts, tools, and equipment
5. Document service calls, including parts used, labor time, and problem resolution
6. Provide cost estimates and explain repair options to customers
7. Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes during all service calls
8. Maintain communication with dispatch and customer service representatives
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 2+ years of professional appliance repair experience
3. EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerant handling
4. Valid driver's license with clean driving record
5. Proficiency with multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools
6. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various physical positions
7. Basic computer skills for scheduling and documentation
8. Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Certification from NASTeC (National Appliance Service Technician Certification)
2. Experience with smart appliance diagnostics and connectivity

4. 5+ years of field service experience
