Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs, create engaging learning materials, and implement evaluation systems to measure program impact across diverse industries.

Training Consultant responsibilities include:

1. Conduct thorough training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultation with managers 2. Design and develop cutting-edge training curricula, materials, and digital learning modules 3. Deliver engaging in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions to diverse audiences 4. Implement Kirkpatrick's Four-Level Training Evaluation model to measure program effectiveness 5. Manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration and track participant progress 6. Provide one-on-one coaching and development plans for high-potential employees 7. Stay current with adult learning theories, instructional design trends, and industry best practices 8. Manage training budget, vendor relationships, and external training resources

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development or related field 2. 5+ years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or organizational development 3. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate) 4. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or equivalent certification 5. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering sales training, leadership development, and technical skills programs 6. Strong facilitation skills with ability to engage audiences of 20+ participants 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with portfolio of created training materials

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Adult Education, or related field 2. Experience in multiple industries (technology, healthcare, financial services) 3. Certification in specific methodologies (DDI, Situational Leadership, Crucial Conversations) 4. Experience with performance consulting and ROI measurement methodologies 5. Background in change management and organizational transformation initiatives 6. Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, Mandarin, or other languages common in US workforce)

1. Experience with AI-powered learning platforms and adaptive learning technologies 2. Background in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training program development 3. Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for training metrics 4. Published research or articles in training industry publications 5.
