We are seeking an experienced IT Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive technology training programs for our US-based workforce. The ideal candidate will develop curriculum, conduct hands-on technical workshops, and assess training effectiveness to ensure our employees maintain cutting-edge digital skills across various IT disciplines.
IT Trainer responsibilities include:
1. Develop and deliver engaging IT training programs covering software applications, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies
2. Create comprehensive training materials including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules
3. Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and customize training solutions
4. Deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions using platforms like Zoom, Teams, and WebEx
5. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics
6. Maintain expertise in current IT trends, tools, and certification requirements
7. Provide one-on-one coaching and support for employees requiring additional assistance
8. Manage training schedules, enrollment, and tracking through LMS platforms
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. 3+ years of professional IT training experience in corporate environments
3. Proficiency in delivering training on Microsoft Office Suite, IT fundamentals, and cybersecurity best practices
4. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms
5. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable training content
7. Valid work authorization for employment in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
1. Industry certifications such as CompTIA CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), or Certified Technical Trainer
2. Experience with IT certification preparation (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
3. Background in corporate IT support or system administration
4. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
5. Experience with e-learning development tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
