Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality assurance processes that ensure our products meet rigorous industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and production operations.

Quality Engineer responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 standards 2. Conduct regular product inspections and process audits to identify quality deviations 3. Lead root cause analysis investigations using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams 4. Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards for new product development 6. Perform statistical process control (SPC) and analyze quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities 7. Validate measurement systems and coordinate calibration of inspection equipment 8. Prepare quality reports and present findings to management and stakeholders

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field 2. 3+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing or production environment 3. Proven expertise in ISO 9001 quality management systems implementation 4. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis tools and quality methodologies (SPC, FMEA, Control Plans) 5. Experience with quality inspection tools and measurement equipment (CMM, calipers, micrometers) 6. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T standards 7. Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience 8. Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar quality certification 2. Experience with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949) or aerospace standards (AS9100) 3. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or higher) 4. Experience with quality management software (MiniTab, SAP QM, or similar) 5. Background in metal fabrication, machining, or precision manufacturing processes 6. Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing 7. Experience with supplier quality management and audit processes

Bonus Skills

1. Experience with automated inspection systems and vision systems 2. Proficiency in programming CMM equipment (PC-DMIS or similar) 3. Knowledge of reliability engineering and accelerated life testing 4. Experience with non-destructive testing methods (UT, RT, MT, PT) 5. Background in implementing AI and machine learning for quality prediction 6. Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools 7. Experience with environmental testing standards (MIL-STD-810, ISTA) 8. Multilingual capabilities for global supplier communication
