Job Overview
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall technology strategy and architecture that aligns with business objectives. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions support organizational goals while maintaining scalability, security, and efficiency across the enterprise landscape.
Enterprise Architect responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and standards
2. Create current and future state architecture models across business, application, data, and technology domains
3. Conduct technology assessments and provide strategic recommendations for system improvements
4. Lead architecture review boards and governance processes
5. Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
6. Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise
7. Develop roadmaps for technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives
8. Ensure architecture compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
9. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
10. Identify and mitigate architecture-related risks across the organization
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2. 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture roles
3. Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
4. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
5. Expertise in multiple technology domains including application, data, and infrastructure
6. Experience with API design and microservices architecture
7. Demonstrated ability to develop technology roadmaps and strategic plans
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
9. TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
10. Experience with architecture modeling tools and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
2. Experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing
3. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
4. Experience with digital transformation initiatives
5. Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
6. Previous consulting experience with Big 4 or major technology firms
7. Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as ArchiMate or Sparx EA
8. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
9. Experience with data governance and master data management
10. Background in software development or engineering
