Electrician responsibilities include:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
2. Perform electrical inspections and diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing devices
3. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
4. Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local building codes
5. Install conduit systems, pull wire, and terminate connections
6. Troubleshoot electrical issues using ammeters, voltmeters, and thermal scanners
7. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components
8. Collaborate with construction teams and other trades on project sites
9. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
1. Valid state Journeyman or Master Electrician license
2. Minimum 3 years of professional electrical experience
3. Thorough knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes
4. Proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
6. OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
7. High school diploma or GED equivalent
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
