1. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for commercial and residential construction projects
2. Lead daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams
3. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and OSHA compliance
4. Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and progress reports
5. Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and stakeholders
6. Implement risk management strategies and resolve on-site issues promptly
7. Manage project financials including cost tracking, invoice approval, and budget forecasting
8. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
2. 5+ years of experience as Construction Project Manager in US market
3. Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $5M in value
4. OSHA 30-Hour Certification and thorough knowledge of safety protocols
5. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
6. Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials
7. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
2. Experience with LEED-certified or sustainable building projects
3. Background in both commercial and multi-family residential construction
4. Degree from ABET-accredited engineering program
5. Established relationships with subcontractors and suppliers in local market
6. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) implementation
7. Knowledge of union labor agreements and prevailing wage requirements
Bonus Skills
1. Professional Engineer (PE) license
2. Master's degree in Construction Management or Business Administration
3. Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
4. Experience with disaster recovery or emergency construction projects
