2. Maintain constant communication with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors regarding order status
3. Monitor project schedules and identify potential material delays before they impact construction timelines
4. Process purchase orders, track shipments, and verify delivery documentation accuracy
5. Resolve shipping errors, damaged goods, and incorrect deliveries with suppliers
6. Maintain inventory records and coordinate with site supervisors on material requirements
7. Liaise between project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams
8. Update project tracking systems with real-time delivery status information
1. 2+ years of construction expediting or logistics coordination experience
2. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry suppliers
4. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to read and interpret construction schedules and material takeoffs
7. High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field
2. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for inventory management
3. OSHA 10-hour certification
