Translator responsibilities include:

1. Translate written documents with 95%+ accuracy while maintaining original format and meaning 2. Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, syntax, and cultural appropriateness 3. Utilize CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast) and translation memory systems 4. Research industry-specific terminology and maintain glossary databases 5. Collaborate with subject matter experts for technical translations 6. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards 7. Localize content for US cultural context and regional preferences

Must-Have Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field 2. 3+ years professional translation experience 3. Native English proficiency with certified fluency in at least two other languages 4. Demonstrated portfolio of published translations 5. Expertise in CAT tools and translation management software 6. Excellent research skills and terminology management capabilities 7. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes

Preferred Qualifications
