Program Manager responsibilities include:
1. Develop and implement program strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with organizational priorities
2. Manage program budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple projects
3. Establish and maintain program governance structures and reporting mechanisms
4. Identify and mitigate program risks and issues while ensuring compliance with standards
5. Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication between stakeholders
6. Monitor program performance metrics and provide regular status updates to executive leadership
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize program management processes
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
2. 7+ years of program/project management experience in complex environments
3. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
4. Proven experience managing budgets exceeding $2M and teams of 20+ people
5. Expertise in program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
6. Strong proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet)
7. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Business Administration or related advanced degree
2. Experience in technology, healthcare, or financial services industries
3. Prior experience managing global or multi-regional programs
4. Knowledge of change management principles and organizational development
5. Experience with risk management frameworks and compliance requirements
6. Background in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)
7. Previous experience in government contracting or regulated industries
