Fundraiser responsibilities include:
1. Develop and execute annual fundraising plans with measurable goals and timelines
2. Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundation representatives
3. Manage end-to-end fundraising campaigns including direct mail, digital outreach, and special events
4. Research and write compelling grant proposals to secure foundation funding
5. Maintain accurate donor records using CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar)
6. Analyze fundraising data to optimize strategies and report on campaign performance
7. Collaborate with marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and messaging
8. Represent organization at community events and networking functions
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management or related field
2. Minimum 3 years of professional fundraising experience in nonprofit sector
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets ($500K+ annually)
4. Experience with donor management software (Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar)
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with grant writing experience
6. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
7. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for donor meetings and events
Preferred Qualifications
1. CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification
2. Experience with capital campaigns or major gifts programs ($10K+ gifts)
3. Existing network of donor contacts in relevant geographic region
4. Experience with digital fundraising platforms (Classy, GiveLively, or similar)
5. Knowledge of IRS regulations and compliance requirements for charitable giving
6. Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) for diverse donor communities
