The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI solutions, creating interactive dashboards, and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance across various departments.
Business Intelligence Analyst responsibilities include:
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions and interactive dashboards using Power BI/Tableau
2. Perform complex data analysis and statistical modeling to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
3. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for data extraction and transformation
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
5. Create and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
6. Implement data quality assurance processes and ensure data integrity across all reporting systems
7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for business process optimization
1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field
2. 3+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role
3. Expert proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
4. Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
5. Proven experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
6. Advanced analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
7. Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field
2. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery)
3. Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) for data analysis and automation
4. Experience with advanced analytics including machine learning algorithms
5. Previous experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce
6. Certification in relevant BI tools (Tableau Certified, Microsoft Power BI Certification)
7. Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline development
