5. Develop and implement digitization projects for improved access to collections
6. Manage environmental controls and storage conditions for preservation

9. Develop and manage archival policies and procedures
10. Supervise volunteers, interns, or support staff in archival activities
1. Master's degree in Library Science, Archival Studies, or related field from an ALA-accredited program
2. Minimum 2 years of professional archival experience
3. Demonstrated knowledge of archival theory, principles, and best practices
4. Experience with archival description standards (DACS, EAD, MARC)
5. Proficiency in archival management systems (Archivists' Toolkit, ArchivesSpace, or similar)
6. Knowledge of preservation techniques for various media formats
7. Understanding of copyright laws and intellectual property rights
8. Strong organizational and cataloging skills
9. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
10. Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
